C’est votre vie. Vivre.

In case you may not understand the title, I’ll save you the time of translating it in Google Translate, it means “This is your life. Live”. It’s not your mother’s, father’s, nor anyone else’s life, it’s yours. Don’t let other people dictate what you should do or what you should be, rather go out there and live it to the fullest. You only live once, they may say, so make it a life with no regrets and worth living.

Equality reigns among us, humans, therefore there is no higher nor lower, but rather, difference and uniqueness. All of us have problems and flaws, even those people who seem p e r f e c t. Envy only degrades the person who feels it. It doesn’t make you any more like the one you envy, you’d just see yourself as a worthless and hopeless person that has nothing. That person you envy has flaws too. You may not see them, but they are there, present in the life of that person. At the same time, judging a person to make you feel better for  yourself is useless. You only destroy the person’s self confidence and make them believe that they will never amount to anything.

Excellence is not being the best, it’s doing your best. Everyone is struggling with their own respective problems, so don’t think of life as a competition, but rather, a road that everyone must go through. The only competition you have is with yourself. Strive for the excellence within you. Stop comparing yourself to others because, you’re different from everyone else. You are you.

Your life is  like an empty canvass or an empty book, you and only you can paint or write it. Make it something good.

LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE
